Lone Cypress, 17 Mile Drive

Taken in 2018 during a trip out west for a wedding in San Francisco, this is a great isolation shot of Lone Cypress at the iconic Pebble Beach.

I (Jack's son Cody) actually had the pleasure of getting to watch him take this shot first hand. He (against the warnings of multiple signs) jumped the bridge and slowly crawled over to a cliff. You can see the image below.

Lone Cypress stands along the famously scenic 17-Mile Drive, raked by wind, swaddled in fog, clinging to its wave-lashed granite pedestal like God’s own advertisement for rugged individualism…This tree is to the Monterey Peninsula what the pyramids are to Egypt, what the Eiffel Tower is to Paris.

Only 200 total prints are available for these sizes: 11 x 14, 16 x 20, 20 x 24. 

Only 25 total prints are available for these sizes: 20 x 30, 24 x 36, 30 x 45, 38 x 48, larger per request. Once the maximum prints are made this image will be retired for life.

Please Note: Due to the archival print quality we hold for all prints, it will likely take between 7-21 days for your print to arrive. Each print undergoes rigorous quality testing to ensure it is up to archival standards (meaning the prints are crafted to be able to be placed in a museum for many years). Expect closer to 21 days if it was framed, and 7-10 if it was just rolled or matted.
